Remote snowy cold October

Remote snowy cold October. The weather has been wild this October. It has caused untold damage, lives have been lost and many have been put out of their homes. Storm Babet wreaked havoc on the North-east coast of Scotland, and continued further south of the UK on day two. Just look at this bizarre scene of a forest floor being lifted up by the strong wind. Up in the central Highlands, we saw a dusting of snow on the hill tops. Here’s an old but popular photo of one of my Airedales many years ago, we were out walking on a very windy day. The weather is more wintry than autumnal, and has brought an abrupt end to the red deer stag annual rut. Doesn’t the Remote snowy cold October photograph send a shiver down your spine?
