Happiness and Ostara. It’s worth noting that tomorrow is the International Day of Happiness! It coincides neatly with tomorrow also being the Spring or Vernal Equinox also called Ostara. Wed, 20 Mar 2024, 3:06 am. Spring begins right there! The light is getting longer as we leave wintry themes of dark, short, cold days behind and welcome in the brighter, lighter, warmer days. It’s time to get a spring-like image for my wild journal and social media accounts – although I’m sure I’ll still see snow in the next few weeks. Living in the highlands means the weather is unpredictable and we often experience snow and frost as late as May.
