There comes a point where you stop and take stock.
Over the years, my work has taken many forms. Writing, photography, books, and more recently, conversations through podcasting. Each has told part of the story, but never quite all of it in one place.
Mellor’s Countryside Chronicle has grown from that realisation.
It is not something entirely new, but rather a gathering together of everything that has come before. It is shaped by years spent in the countryside, working, observing, and being part of a world that is often misunderstood or overlooked.
This Chronicle is simply that. A place to share stories, reflections, and experiences from countryside life and country sports, honestly and without fuss.
Some of it will be written. Some of it will be seen through images. Some of it will be spoken, through conversation. It will not follow a strict pattern, because life in the countryside rarely does.
What matters is that it remains real.
This is where it begins.
